FOOD
Calderazzo offers a wide selection of Italian cuisine and, now established for over three years, ranks among Bangkok’s finest. The
inspiration of Marco Calderrazo, its produce and the wines reflect his mixed Italian/Australian origin. Amongst the appetisers, favourites include carpaccio del papa, or thinly sliced Australian beef with shaved parmigiano, walnut and mushroom; and antipasto misti, a mixed selection of appetisers of the day. There are numerous freshly prepared pasta and risotto dishes, a standout being fettucine verde, hand-made spinach fettucine with Italian pork sausage, porcini and
shiitake mushrooms. The best of the entrees include osso bucco served on saffron risotto, and grilled barramundi fillet on a bed of sauteed spinach with fresh mixed green salad and lemon tomato concasse condiment. Of note in a good selection of desserts are lemoncella, baked lemon tart and creamy panna cotta, whilst an interesting choice of seven Italian cheeses paired with wines is available for those with a less sweet tooth.

An extensive list in excess of 150 wines includes Italian, Australian and New Zealand labels ranging from very affordable to premium.
SERVICE
Friendly wait staff, neatly attired in white shirts, black trousers and apron, willingly answers questions or provides suggestions.
